Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) recruitment: ISRO is looking for young, dynamic dedicated administrative staff in the Pay Scale Rs.5,200-20,200/- Grade Pay Rs.2,400/- for Centers/Units across India. ADVT. No. ISRO HQ:ICRB:02:2009 dated 18.07.2009

Assistant: 148 posts
Qualification : Graduation with miimum 60%% Fitst class, Profiviency in use of comluters, A Diploma of one year duration in Computer Applications desirable.
Junior Personal 72 posts.
Qualification : Graduation with minimum 60% marks/first class. OR Diploma in Secretarial/Commercial Practice with minimum 60%/First class with minimum of one year experience as Stenographer or equivalent in any Central/ State Govt./ PSU/ Autonomous body/ Pvt. Firm, A minimum speed of 40 w.p.m and 80 w.p.m in English Typing on PC and English stenography respectively., Proficiency in use of computers., A Diploma of one year duration in Computer Applications desirable.
Selection Process : The qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and possession of the same does not automatically make candidates eligible for written test. Based on bio-data, initial screening will be conducted to short-list candidates for taking-up written test. The written test will be conducted at six venues viz., Ahmedabad, Bangalore, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Sriharikota and Thiruvananthapuram. Candidates short-listed based on the performance in the written test /skill test (wherever applicable) will be called for interview, the schedule and venue of which will be intimated later.
Age Limit : 26 years as on 07-08-2009 (31 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 29 years for OBC candidates. Ex-Serviceman and Persons with Disabilities are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India orders.)
How to apply: Candidates have to apply online. Registration would be open from 18/07/2009 to 07/08/2009.
Payment of Application fee :There will be an Application Fee of Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only) for each application. After registration of application on-line, the candidates have to down-load and print the personalized payment challan form from the ISRO system which will contain the Name of the candidate, Registration Number, Receipt Account Number, Advertisement No., Post No. and Post Code. The candidates have to visit the nearest branches of State Bank of India for remittance of application fee to Receipt Account No.30780921723 by using the personalized payment challan of State Bank of India on any day between 18.07.2009 and 11.08.2009. The candidates may down-load and print the personalized payment challan from the ISRO system on any day between 18.07.2009 and 07.08.2009. The Banker’s charges of Rs.30/- (Rupees Thirty Only) to be borne by the candidates only. The candidates who are unable to down-load and print the personalized payment challan from ISRO website, may visit the nearest State Bank of India branch and fill-up the challan form giving all required details such as Name, Registration No., Receipt Account Number, Advertisement No., Post No. and Post code and remit the application fee. The payment shall be made through cash deposit only. Payment of Application Fee in any other form like Cheque, Draft, Money Order, IPO, etc. are not allowed. Applications in respect of candidates who have not remitted the application fee before 11.08.2009 will not be considered for further processing.
